Webequie First Nation Education Authourity is accepting applications for teachers at the grade 8 and secondary levels for the 2022-2023 school year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent training
- Understanding of the Ontario Curriculum
- Respect for Indigenous cultures and desire to learn First Nations culture and history
- Willingness to implement Indigenous culture into the curriculum
- Strong ability to make accommodations for special needs students
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Willingness to relocate to teach full-time in a northern First Nation
- Ability to produce a clear Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
